Ingredients

  • 4 of eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • to taste of extra sugar, for dusting (optional)


Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is foamy and has doubled in volume.
  2. Add the vanilla, add the vanilla extract and mix.
  3. Fold in the flour, sift the flour and salt, and fold them in gently to avoid deflating the mixture.
  4. Shape the lenguas, pipe the mixture with a pastry bag into elongated, flat strips on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Dust, dust with extra sugar, if desired.
  6. Bake, bake in a preheated 180°C (350°F) oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly golden at the edges.
  7. Cool, let cool on a rack before serving.
